When users create and add Submittal items to a Project, one of the required fields is to select the Submittal Type(s). These Types are the various forms of Submittals that are often used on construction Projects, such as Product Data, Test Reports, Samples, Shop Drawings, Manuals, etc.
The Type selection dropdown options come from the Submittal Types listed in the Configuration menu. You may have as many Submittal Types as needed. To add a new Submittal Type, follow the instructions below.
1. Add a Submittal Type

Steps:
From Configuration, expand "Submittals" and locate "Submittal Types" (under the heading: Projects).
Click the New (+) icon.
Enter the Submittal Type Name.
Click "Save".
