Frequently Asked Questions about password requirements:

  1. Why is RedTeam Flex making these changes to passwords?
Boost and modernize security protocols to meet current software standards.

  2. Do I have to change my current password, if it does not meet the new requirements?
We strongly recommend that you update your password to meet our new requirements. At this time we are not enforcing you to update your password to the current requirements. Click here for instructions on how to change your password.

  3. A couple of our users share an email address between their profiles. How will RedTeam Flex know which user is requesting the password reset?
Having a unique email address tied to user accounts simplifies our user management process. It allows us to deliver a more personalized experience and tailored support based on your specific needs, with the new requirements each user will need their own unique email address connected to their user profile. If a password reset is requested and the system detects multiple users sharing the same email, it will provide an email with a list of admins to reach out to. At that point, the admins will have the opportunity to update the user’s password and email address.

  4. Are passwords in RedTeam Flex case-sensitive?
Yes, both passwords before and after the security update are case-sensitive.

  5. I don’t know which email is associated with my account. How can I find out?
