RedTeam Flex - Manage Action Items

Action Items in RedTeam are directives to complete a task or messages sent to a specific RedTeam user.

Updated over a week ago

Action Items in RedTeam Flex are directives to complete a task or messages sent to a specific RedTeam Flex user. This user may be an employee, vendor, customer, or third-party. Sending an Action Item is like sending a personal message, particularly if the "confidential" box is checked.

You will notice after logging in to RedTeam Flex the Received Action Items flag in the top right corner of the window.

Action Items referencing a specific Project will appear in the Action Items list under the Dashboard tab of a project.

Action Items referencing a company instead of a project will not appear in the list but it will be delivered to the recipient as an email and as a RedTeam Flex notification if they are a user.

1. Create Action Item

From the Dashboard tab of your Project, you may create and send Action Items to members of your Team as well as other users.

Alternatively, you can also access Action Items by clicking on the home icon and from there selecting Action Items.

You can view and create Action Items from the Flag on the top right menu.

Click + Create New Action Item, and choose the Company or the Project for the action item Recipient.

Using project will default to the last opened project, and list it in the project’s action item log.

Fill out the required fields on the form and click Save or Save and New if you need to create additional Action Items. You can include a Due Date and attach any supporting files.

If the recipient has a RedTeam Flex account, they will be notified of incoming Action Items upon login. External contacts will receive an email notification when an Action Item has been assigned to them.

2. Action Item Log

When Action Items are sent to RedTeam Flex users, they are first associated with either a project or a company. Any action items created as part of a project's workflow will automatically be associated with the project. The Action Items related to a project are all tracked within the project's Dashboard tab.

There you will also find the Action Item Log, which organizes all of the project's action items into a printable or downloadable format.

To access the Action Items within a project, go to the Dashboard tab, then click the Menu Icon on the top left.

To access the printable Action Items Log, click the View icon

To print the document, click on the Print button. Alternatively, you can save it as a PDF file.
