Users Configuration has the same controls as the edit function for Employee profiles.

Users Configuration has the same controls as the edit function for Employee profiles. From here, you may open a user profile to manage access to Facilities, or you may edit to make changes to the profile information. All functions available here are also available from the Employees menu.

In addition to Employee users, you will also find contacts for all of the entities in your system. You have the ability to assign contacts usernames and passwords should you want to give access to your RedTeam database to a contact outside your company, such as an owner or architect.


Add a User to RedTeam (from Configuration)

Users Configuration has the same controls as the edit function for Employee profiles. From here, you may open a user profile to manage access to Facilities, or you may edit to make changes to the profile information. All functions available here are also available from the Employees menu.

In addition to Employee users, you will also find contacts for all of the entities in your system. You have the ability to assign contacts usernames and passwords should you want to give access to your RedTeam database to a contact outside your company, such as an owner or architect.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click Users (under the heading: Employees).


  2. Click the New (+) icon.

  3. Select whether this new User is an Employee or Other (user from another company), then select the Company.

    Fill in the required fields with information about the User, such as a User Name, First & Last Name, Role, Location, etc.

  4. Be sure to give the User a Password at the bottom of the window, and click Save when you are ready.

    • Password must be between 8-20 characters.

    • Password must include at least one number

    • Password must include at least one lowercase letter

    • Password must include at least one uppercase letter

    • Password must include at least one special character

    • Password may not contain or match your username

  5. On the next screen, give the User access to the Projects by selecting the Customer Facilities you want them to access. Click Save when you are ready.


Manage User Access to Facilities (from Configuration)

The Users section of Configuration includes all Users that exist in your Employees menu, as well as contacts for the various entities in your database (Customers, Vendors, and Third-Parties). From here you can manage which Projects each User can see and work in by managing their Access to Customer Facilities.

You can also manage an Employees access to Facilities from the Employees menu.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click "Users" (under the heading: Employees).


  2. Locate the User in the list, click the tools icon, and click Open.


  3. Click the checkboxes to select specific Facilities; click the box next to the Customer to select all. Click Save when you are ready.


Edit User Profile (from Configuration)

The Users section of Configuration includes all Users that exist in your Employees menu, as well as contacts for the various entities in your database (Customers, Vendors, and Third-Parties). From here you can Edit any User's profile and change their basic information such as username, password, contact information, payroll information, etc.

You can also Edit an Employee to update information from the Employees menu.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click "Users" (under the heading: Employees).


  2. Use the Search or scroll through to locate the User in the list. Click the tools icon. Click Edit, and proceed to update all necessary User information, click Save when you are ready.



View a list of RedTeam Users

The Users Configuration section lists all of the Service Provider's (your company's) RedTeam users. To see a comprehensive list of all existing RedTeam Users for the Service Provider, including names, phone/fax numbers, email addresses and company division, follow the instructions below.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click "Users" (under the heading: Employees).

  2. Click the View icon.
