An Opportunity is a chance for a company to market or sell goods or services, which emerges when their product or service satisfies the demands of a certain market better than their competition. When creating a new Opportunity in RedTeam Flex, you are given the option to add Additional Information, such as a Type (Competitive, Negotiated, etc.). You can manage these Types in the Configuration section.
1. Add an Opportunity Type
Follow the steps below to create Opportunity Types in Configuration.
Steps:
From the Configuration menu, select Opportunity Types under the Heading Opportunities.
Click the New (+) icon.
Enter a description for the new Type, and click Save when you are ready.
2. Edit, Deactivate or Delete Opportunity Type
Follow the steps below to edit, deactivate or delete Opportunity Types in Configuration.
Steps:
From the Configuration menu, select Opportunity Types under the Heading Opportunities.
Click on the Tools icon:
Click Edit if you need to modify the Description of the Opportunity Type.
Click Delete if you need to remove the Opportunity Type from the list. This option will only be available if the opportunity type was not used.
Uncheck the Active box to deactivate the Opportunity Type, then click Save. This can be reverted at any time.
