In RedTeam Flex, you can link a Customer’s Facilities to Markets to track which Markets their Projects fall under and to identify potential Markets for future jobs.
A Facility is any business, department, division, or project location specified by the Customer. When you create a Facility, you can link it to a Market, such as Government, Education, Healthcare, or Aviation. You can fully customize the Markets in your database.
1. Add a New Market
Markets are categories you can assign to Customer Facilities, often to track marketing targets and opportunities. From the Configuration menu, you can set up all the types of Markets your business serves.
For example, if your company works mostly on healthcare facilities, you might create specific Markets such as Hospitals, Walk-In Clinics, and Assisted Living instead of one broad “Healthcare” category. The Markets you configure are available to all users when they create Customer Facilities, and later in the Marketing section of RedTeam Flex.
To change a Facility’s Market, edit the Customer Facility. For more information, see Manage Customer Facility Profile.
Steps:
From the Configuration menu, select Market, under the heading: Customers.
Click the New (+) icon.
Enter the Market Name.
Click Save.
2. Edit or Delete Market Category
After you create a Market, you can edit, delete, or inactivate it from the Configuration menu.
Edit a Market: Click the Tools icon, select Edit, and update the Market’s name.
Delete a Market: If the Market isn’t linked to any Customer Facility, click the Tools icon and select Delete. This permanently removes the Market.
Inactivate a Market: If the Market is already linked to a Customer Facility, you can’t delete it. Instead, click the Tools icon, select Edit, and mark the Market as Inactive. Inactive Markets are no longer available when you create or edit Customer Facilities.
Steps:
From the Configuration menu, select Market, under the heading: Customers.
Locate the Market category in the list and click the tools icon.
Click Edit to modify the Name of the Market, or to make it Inactive (Unselect Active Box and Save).
Click Delete to remove the Market permanently (option grayed out if in use, inactivate instead).
