Updated over a week ago

When you are building a Proposal to a Customer in RedTeam, you have the ability to include Clarifications or Alternates for that Proposal in order to more precisely define the scope and the work included.

Often these Clarifications are unique to the specific Proposal and Project, and may be added at that time. In other cases, you may have Clarifications or Alternates that are used so often on Proposals that you would prefer to be able to select them from a default list rather than typing them out each time you do a new Proposal. For example: dumpsters included, no permit fees, etc.

These default Clarifications are added to the master list in the Configuration menu and are then available to be selected on any Proposal being generated out of RedTeam.

1. Add a Default Proposal Clarification

When you are building a Proposal to a Customer in RedTeam, you have the ability to include Clarifications about that Proposal in order to more precisely define the scope and the work included.

Often these Clarifications are unique to the specific Proposal and Project, and may be added at that time. In other cases, you may have Clarifications that are used so often on Proposals that you would prefer to be able to select them from a default list rather than typing them out each time you do a new Proposal. For example: dumpsters included, no permit fees, etc.

These default Clarifications are added to the master list in the Configuration menu and are then available to be selected on any Proposal being generated out of RedTeam.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click "Proposal Clarifications" (under the heading: Projects).

  2. Click the New (+) icon.

  3. Enter a Description for the Clarification.

    4. Click "Save".

2. Edit or Delete a Proposal Clarification

Once Proposal Clarifications have been created, you can modify or remove them in the Configuration menu.

To modify the Description of the Proposal Clarification, you can click Edit from the tools icon and make the changes.

To remove a Proposal Clarification that has not been associated with a Proposal, you can click Delete from the tools icon and it will be removed permanently.

To remove a Proposal Clarification that has been associated with a Proposal, you can click Edit from the tools icon and make it Inactive and it will no longer be available to be used when creating new Proposals.

Steps:

  1. From the Configuration menu, click "Proposal Clarifications" (under the heading: Projects).

  2. Locate the Proposal Clarification in the list.

  3. Click the tools icon.

  4. Click "Edit" to modify the Description of the Proposal Clarification, or to make it Inactive.

  5. Click "Delete" to remove the Proposal Clarification permanently (The option will be absent if the clarification has been used, inactivate instead).
