The Equipment section of RedTeam Flex allows you to track and manage all equipment that is assigned, rented, returned, and more. Keeping accurate internal records of your equipment will keep you organized and hold employees accountable for their equipment assignments. Part of the Equipment tracking feature in RedTeam Flex is to determine and record each item's condition upon assignment and return. To manage and change these preset conditions, follow the instructions in this Wiki.
1. Add an Equipment Condition
Equipment Conditions are the preset options used to record an item's condition when it is assigned, returned, or after it undergoes maintenance.
Steps:
From Configuration, locate "Equipment Conditions" (under the heading: Equipment).
Click the New (+) icon.
Enter a Description for the Equipment Condition and the Display Order in which it will appear in the list.
Click "Save".
2. Edit or Delete an Equipment Condition
Once Equipment Conditions have been created, you can modify or remove them from the Configuration menu.
To modify the Description or Display Order of an Equipment Condition, click Edit from the tools icon and make your changes.
To remove an Equipment Condition that has not been associated with an Equipment item, click Delete from the tools icon and it will be removed permanently.
To remove an Equipment Condition that has been associated with an Equipment item, click Edit from the tools icon and make it Inactive. It will no longer be available when creating new Equipment items or updating maintenance on existing items in the Equipment menu.
Steps:
From Configuration, locate "Equipment Conditions" (under the heading: Equipment).
Locate the Equipment Condition in the list.
Click the tools icon.
Click "Edit" to modify the Description or Display Order of the Equipment Condition, or to make it Inactive.
Click "Delete" to remove the Equipment Condition permanently (option grayed out if in use; inactivate it instead).
Click "Save".
