Managing Punch Lists (Requests for Correction) in the New RedTeam Flex Mobile App

Create and manage all types of Requests for Correction, including punch, safety, quality, and warranty tasks from within the new RedTeam Flex mobile app

The RedTeam Flex mobile app allows users to create, track, and manage all Requests for Correction (RFCs) directly from the field. This includes not only traditional punch list items, but also safety, quality, warranty, and any custom RFC types configured by your company. To access these items, open your selected project and tap the Punch List tile in the Project Resources section of the Projects menu.

Within the Punch List screen, users can view and filter tasks by workflow status, type, location, responsible company, and scope. Tasks are automatically grouped by project location when locations are assigned, and custom RFC types created in the web version will also appear in the mobile app. Users can search for tasks by description using the search icon and expand or collapse location groups as needed. Existing items can be opened to review details, edit draft items, add photos, or manage workflow status depending on user permissions.

RFC items move through several workflow stages including Just Created, Pending, Completed, and Approved. Draft items can be edited and committed individually or in bulk if the user has the appropriate permissions. Pending items can be marked as completed by adding completion remarks and after photos, while completed items can later be approved or rejected by supervisors or authorized users. Unlike Action Items, Requests for Correction are assigned to a company rather than an individual, so creating an RFC does not automatically send an email notification. Distribution of RFCs to vendors or external companies is managed separately through the web version of RedTeam Flex.

Creating a new RFC is done by tapping the blue plus (+) button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Users can define the scope, select the RFC type, assign a location, choose the responsible company, set a required completion date, and add descriptions and photos. Items can also be marked Confidential to limit visibility to authorized personnel only. This mobile workflow allows field teams to quickly document issues onsite and track them through resolution directly from their devices.
