Daily Reports in the New RedTeam Flex Mobile App

Learn how to create and manage Progress Reports from the new RedTeam Flex mobile app

The Daily Report feature is one of the primary tools within the new RedTeam Flex mobile app, giving field teams an easy way to document daily project activity directly from their mobile devices. To access it, select your project from the Projects menu and tap the Daily Report icon at the top of the screen. From there, you can view today’s report or use the menu and arrow controls to navigate between reports from previous days and weeks.

To add information to a report, tap the blue plus (+) button in the bottom-right corner and select the type of entry you’d like to create. Daily reports support both customizable observation fields and standard report sections such as Photos, Weather, Attendance, and Equipment. Observation fields are configured by your company administrators and can be used for notes, comments, or other project-specific tracking. Users can also attach photos directly to comments using either the device camera or photo gallery.

The Photos section allows users to upload multiple images and add required descriptions before saving. The Weather section automatically fills in forecast data based on the project address, but weather details can still be edited manually if conditions differ onsite. The Attendance section replaces the legacy Census feature, allowing users to record companies onsite, labor counts, hours worked, and descriptions of work performed. If your company uses project equipment tracking, the Equipment section allows users to log utilization hours and notes for equipment assigned to the project.

At any time, users can preview the report as a PDF directly within the app using the View Preview option. The preview includes collaborative commenting tools, printing options, and access to report collaborators. Depending on permissions, users may also have the ability to Commit the daily report, finalizing it and preventing further edits. Otherwise, reports remain in draft status until reviewed and committed by a supervisor or project manager. This mobile workflow allows teams to continuously update reports throughout the day while maintaining accurate, real-time project documentation.
