Fieldlens - Changing Due Dates

Edit the due dates for assignees from web or mobile

You can change the due date on a post under certain circumstances:

  • If you created the original post.

  • If you added assignees to someone else’s post, you can edit the due date for those assignees. Either if the assignees are from your company or other companies.

  • If someone from your company created the post and assigned it to a company or a person outside of your company.

  • You can only change your own due date if you assign the post to yourself.

On your mobile device

Tap into the post to get started. From there you have 2 ways to update the due date

  1. Tap the orange Assign button in the bottom left-hand corner.

    From this screen, you can update the Due date for all the assignees by selecting Set due date for all the assignees listed. Or you can update the due date for each assignee individually.



    Select the date from the calendar and click ok.

    Once you made the changes click Update on the top right corner.

  2. You can also tap on the assignee you need to update from the main Post view and click on Update Due Date from the options that pop up at the bottom of your screen.

    Select the new date from the calendar and click ok.



Check the updated dates and save the changes with the button Update from the top right corner.

On the web

The process is very similar on the web.

  • Click on the post and choose Update assignees from the bottom left.

  • Click on the relevant due date to update the date or click on the x to delete it entirely.

  • You can set the same due date for all the assignees also.

Click Update to save the change.
