RedTeam Go - QuickBooks Integration - Project Estimates

This article will describe where the Estimates show in QuickBooks once a project moves from the Pending Status to In Progress in RedTeam Go.

Updated over 8 months ago

In RedTeam Go, you can choose whether you would like the Owner Budget Estimate (cost code detail from the Bidding Estimate Worksheet) or the Construction Budget (Budget Worksheet showing Construction Buy-Out Budget) to push to QuickBooks.

You will make this designation when you update the QuickBooks Settings in RedTeam Go.

Click Accounting > QuickBooks Desktop Integration or QuickBooks Online Integration (depending on which integration you have) > Settings

From here you will scroll down to RedTeam Go [Company Name] Options > Select Construction Budget or Owner Estimate (default is set to Construction Buy Out Budget).

NOTE: If selecting the Owner Estimate you may select the SOV format you would like to display in QuickBooks as the Estimate.

Once the project is set up as a Sub-Customer, you can view the Estimate.

For QuickBooks Desktop, from Customers > Customer Center > click on the projects > Transactions tab > Estimates

For QuickBooks Online from the left-side menu > click Customer & Leads > Customer > type project name in search box > Click on Project name

Once project is on-screen click Transaction Lists > click the Type drop down arrow > Estimates

The Estimate will now display:

Check the box >scroll to the right > click Edit topen the Estimate:

The estimate will display with the Budget pulled in from RedTeam Go including any budget adjustments or sub change orders (when using the Construction Budget) or will show the Bidding Worksheet Owner Budget plus Owner Change Orders (if using the Owner Estimate selection).

Ex. of Budget Worksheet from RedTeam Go from Project > Commitments > Budget

NEXT: Click HERE to see how Estimates are updated with Owner Change Orders (If you've chosen to push Owner Estimates to QuickBooks as opposed to Construction Budget).
