To initiate the connection you must first build out a web user entity within Intacct for RedTeam Flex to interact with. Then we will synchronize master lists of Cost Types, Cost Categories, Cost Codes, Customer Types, Vendor Types, and Tax Venues.

If RedTeam Flex is new to your organization, you may also import your existing Customers and Vendors from Sage, linking them into RTF. Otherwise, Customers and Vendors will be inserted into Sage by RedTeam Flex as required.

Once your two systems are synchronized, you may selectively control which Projects in RedTeam Flex are to be connected to Sage, by entering the Sage Job ID into the Scope Description of the selected Projects and clicking the “Send to Intacct” button. Once a Project is connected, Vendor Commitments, Vendor Changes, Vendor Invoices, and Customer Billings will be sent to Sage as they are "executed" in RedTeam Flex. Additionally, Payments to Vendors for linked Vendor Invoices, Customer Payments for Customer Billings, and all other Job Costs will be automatically imported back into RedTeam Flex.

If you plan to implement Sage concurrently with the startup of this connection, keep in mind that your accounting implementation process is independent of the process outlined in these implementation instructions. We recommend that you consult with your accountant for a specific direction regarding implementation of Sage for your accounting.

These Implementation Instructions will help guide you through the process of connecting RedTeam Flex to Sage.
