Updated over a week ago

The Vendors Overview is a master directory of all Vendor profiles that exist in RedTeam for your company. Under this tab you may view and edit Vendor profiles. Use the View icon to see the Vendors Log and the Experienced Vendors List, which lists all subcontractors that you, the Service Provider, have issued Buyout Commitments to in RedTeam.

Through the additional tabs in this vendor menu, you can also view vendor commitments, invoices, payments, and lien law documentation across all of your vendors or a filtered selection of them.

1. View Vendors List

The Vendors List is a comprehensive directory of all the Vendor Profiles that exist in the RedTeam application for your company. The easy-to-read and ready-to-print log includes the Vendor name, phone/fax numbers, city & state, type (material or subcontract), average rating, and status (prospect, active, inactive). To change any of these Vendor details, you will need to edit the Vendor profile.

Steps:

  1. From the Companies menu, select Vendors.

  2. Click the View icon for reports.

  3. Select "View Vendors List".

2. View Vendor Credential Expiration

Credentials are qualifications certifying that a person or company does, in fact, meet the requirements for a job or task. Vendor credentials are managed in the Vendor's profile, and may be changed or updated at any time. Because credentials are important in ensuring the safety and quality of your work, you may view the Credential expiration report which lists all Vendors in the system whose credentials have expired or are about to expire.

Steps:

  1. From the Companies menu, select Vendors.

  2. Click the blue "Credentials" Button on the top right of the Vendors list.

  3. Select the filter icon and adjust "Credential Status" to view expired credentials or those in need of review; lastly, click "Filter & Hide".

  4. This list can be printed or saved to PDF by clicking the "Print" button; when finished reviewing, click "Close.

3. View Experienced Vendors

Experienced Vendors are Vendors (subcontractors) in RedTeam that your company has worked with on past projects. This is determined by Buyout Commitments, Submittals, or RFQs issued. If a Vendor has previously received a Buyout Commitment, or contract for materials or services, they are considered an Experienced Vendor. The Experienced Vendors log in the Buyout tab of a Project, lists all of these Vendors, the last date used, their total number of Commitments in the system, total dollar amount of the Commitments, max dollar amount for Commitments, and the average Vendor rating.

Steps:

  1. From the Companies menu, select Vendors.

  2. Click the View icon.

  3. Select "View Experienced Vendors".

4. Vendor Overview Invoices and Commitments

From the Vendors Overview menu, you can click the tabs for Commitments, Invoices, Payments, and Claims to view related entries for vendors across the many projects in your RedTeam database. If you have the appropriate permissions, you can interact with these entities in the same way you would through the project. You can view, edit, commit, etc. as needed. You can also use filters to put together specific lists and generate reports as needed.

Steps:

  1. On the Vendor Overview screen, clicking through the tabs will allow you to view vendor agreements, invoices, and documentation across all projects.

  2. Each of the Vendor Overview tabs have filter options to restrict which entities appear on screen and in some reports.

  3. You can click the View icon to see the available reporting options for that tab.

  4. If you need to go to view a specific project, you can click the Project Number and RedTeam will take you to the Project's page.
