Fieldlens - Overview of Reports

Llearn how can reports can make your day to day easier

Updated over a year ago

Many people use Fieldlens to avoid doing reports altogether. The Feed of project updates exists so that anyone can log into the app and see exactly what’s happening on the jobsite, live.

But we get it - sometimes you need a printed report. Fieldlens reports are built from the posts that you and your team create. So you keep doing what you’re doing in Fieldlens - document the jobsite, assign tasks, create a punch list, etc, and run a report when you need it.

No need to remember or double-enter information at the end of the day, week or month — it’s already there in your posts, ready to be exported.

PDF Reports

PDF reports can be sent from your mobile device or the web and are typically what people use for their daily reports. It’s easy to set them to include only the posts updated that day or to refine them - by date or category for example.

From the Web App:

The layout and content of PDF reports can be customized from the web. You can choose from several preset formatting options or customize them to your liking.

You can choose to export a report as either a PDF or CSV. The formatting of PDF reports is fully customizable, and there are also several preset formatting options that you can choose from the following presets:

Other report types

You can also send two additional types of reports:

Post Summary Report (CSV): A summary of all current posts, minus media. Each assignee will have their own line in the spreadsheet with their associated status on tasks.

Resource Tracking Report (CSV): Any resource data that you’ve entered can be exported into a single report.

Viewing reports you’ve run

From the web app, click Reports at the top of the toolbar to see a list of reports you’ve run. Company Admins can also view reports run by any user from your company.
