Upload 360° photos to your projects to create walkthroughs of your project.

Fieldlens makes it easy to view project progress through 360° photos. Users on the field can upload 360° photos taken with special cameras, Android phones using Photosphere functionality and iOS panoramic.

Photos can be uploaded to posts and pinned to drawings to create walkthroughs of your project, 360° photos can be viewed on web and mobile devices.

NOTE:
There are several 360° cameras available in the market that can be used to capture 360° photos. However, it's important to keep in mind that Fieldlens may not support 360° photos that are not in .jpg format.

Please take a look at the instructions below to learn how. You can upload your 360° photos to an existing post or while creating a new one.

Upload 360 photos to a NEW Post from Android Devices:

  1. Click the Create icon at the bottom of the screen and select the type of post you want to add.



  2. Once you've entered the title and description for your post click the Camera icon


    And select Attachments.



  3. Navigate within your device's internal storage to locate the 360° photos you need to upload.

  4. Select the photos you need to include in your post.


  5. The images selected will be included in your new post, enter any text if needed, or complete your post with assignees and categories. When you are ready click Post.
    If the post is pinned to a drawing you'll be able to see the photos from the drawing view as well.

Upload 360 photos to a NEW Post from Apple Devices:

  1. Click the Create icon at the bottom of the screen and select the type of post you want to add.

  2. Once you've entered the title and description for your post click the Camera icon


    And select Choose from Gallery.

  3. Select the gallery folder where you store your Panoramic photos or 360 photos saved on your device. Pick the photos you need to add to your post and click Add when you are ready.


  4. The images selected will be included in your New post, enter any additional text if needed and click Post when you are ready.
    If the post is pinned to a drawing you'll be able to see the photos from the drawing view as well.

Upload 360 photos to Existing Posts from Android Devices:

  1. After taking your 360° photos save them to the photo gallery of your device

  2. ​Open the post you need to update and click the +More button and select Add an attachment from the list of options


  3. Navigate within your device's internal storage to locate the 360° photos you need to upload.



  4. Select the photos you need to include in your post.


  5. The images selected will be included in your Reply, enter any text if needed and click Send when you are ready.
    If the post is pinned to a drawing you'll be able to see the photos from the drawing view as well.



Upload 360 photos to Existing Posts from Apple Devices:

  1. Click the Camera option.

  2. Once the camera app loads, you have the option to take a new photo or navigate to the Gallery to select the 360° or panoramic photos saved on your device. Keep in mind that cameras from Apple devices do not have the option to take photosphere images, but you can take Panoramic images that can later be uploaded to the post and viewed in 360° mode.



  3. Select the gallery folder where you store your Panoramic photos or 360 photos saved on your device. Pick the photos you need to add to your post and click Add when you are ready.


  4. The images selected will be included in your Reply, enter any text if needed and click Send when you are ready.
    If the post is pinned to a drawing you'll be able to see the photos from the drawing view as well.

Drawings 360° Walkthrough​

  1. Once you have posts that include 360° photos, you can navigate your job site right from the Drawing.

    All you need to do is go to the drawing, hit 360 Walkthrough (at the top right of the screen), and it'll take you to the new window.


    You can use your mouse to zoom in/out, rotate and pan around the photo.

    Use the Share tool on the top right to send your 360° photo link to anyone.
