Employees in the field or on-the-go may prefer to enter Time from the RedTeam Flex Mobile app, rather than from the web version of RedTeam. In order to enter Time from the mobile app, the user must have a user profile and login for RedTeam Flex, along with having the mobile app downloaded to their mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.). The user must also have permissions that allow them to enter Time in RedTeam Flex. User Roles & Permissions are adjusted in the Configuration Menu within the web version of RedTeam Flex.

Employees can create timesheets by entering both direct and indirect time.
Direct Time is labor that will be coded to a project budget and reflected as job costs within that project. Direct Time can be entered for Projects against a Labor Authorization (issued in the Buyout tab of a Project) or, with permissions, without a pre-existing Labor Authorization.
Indirect Time is labor that will not be coded to a project budget and is generally considered to be part of "overhead" labor costs. Indirect Time can be added by using the Indirect Time entry option with custom Indirect Time categories. Indirect Time categories can be edited by your System Administrator within the Configuration Menu, under the "Time & Expense Codes" heading.
Steps to enter Direct Labor for an existing Labor Authorization:
From the Main Menu, tap "Time" at the bottom center of the screen.
Use the left and right arrows on either side of the date range heading to navigate to the week for which you want to enter Time. (Note that you can only have one open timesheet at a time, and you will only be able to enter time for the current open timesheet)
Tap on a day to enter hours. Select whether the hours you want to enter are Direct (for a Project) or Indirect (for overhead, i.e. PTO)
For Direct Time, start by selecting a Labor Authorization (if you do not have a Labor Authorization, skip to the section "Direct Time with no Labor Authorization" below)
Note: Only OPEN Labor Authorizations will be displayed in the list, meaning that if the Labor Authorization has been closed manually, or has no remaining Open/Available hours, it will not display.
After selecting the Labor Authorization, verify the Date and W.C. (Worker's Comp) Code, select a Labor Category (if required), and enter your Hours for the day.
Tap "Save"
Steps to enter Direct Labor for a new Labor Authorization:
For Direct Time with no Labor Authorization, start by tapping "+ Add New"
Tap "Search projects" to search for the Project (by any part of the name or number) for which you want to add hours
Once the Project is selected, select Scope (original or change order), Cost Code, W.C. (Workers Comp), Labor Category (if used), and enter the Hours.
Tap Save once you have entered all the required information.
Steps to enter Indirect Labor:
For Indirect Time, start by selecting a Category (PTO, Holiday, Marketing, etc.)
Once a Category is selected, confirm the Date, select a W.C. (Workers Comp), and enter the Hours for the day, and tap Save.
