RedTeam Flex has many features in place to minimize and avoid duplicate data entries into the system, such as the Customer and Vendor search before adding a new Customer or Vendor profile. Nevertheless, duplicates cannot always be avoided. From the Configuration section, Duplicate Contacts automatically display all duplicate Customer contact profiles found in RedTeam Flex. From here, you can view which Customer contacts are duplicated and even merge the two contacts if it is determined that they are duplicates of the same person.


1. Merge Duplicate Customer Contacts

From the Configuration section, Duplicate Contacts automatically display all duplicate Customer contact profiles in RedTeam Flex. The instructions below show you how to merge two contacts if you find that there are multiple entries for the same contact.

Steps:

  1. From Configuration, locate "Duplicate Contacts" (under the heading: Customers).

  2. Locate the Duplicate Contacts, listed under the Customer name. Click Merge, next to the records you would like to merge.
    Records are organized by entity.
