RedTeam Go Subcontractor - How do I submit my Lien Release Waiver?

This article describes the Lien Release Waiver.

HAND SIGNED LIEN RELEASE

If your General Contractor is using the Hand Signed Lien Release option, upon their approval of your Subcontractor invoice, you will receive an email with a PDF attachment of the Lien Waiver. You will take the Lien to be signed/notarized, then click the link to upload your Lien back into RedTeam Go.

1.) When Bill is Submitted this message will appear in the Subcontractor site:

2.) When Bill is Approved by Project Manager, you will receive the following e-mail with PDF lien document attached and a link to upload the notarized lien:

3.) Print your lien Document and take to be notarized.

4.) Scan your notarized document

5.) Pick one of these methods to upload:

  • Click the link in the Lien E-mail to upload without logging in to RedTeam Go Portal (Image above)

  • Log in>click Billing Icon>select project name>click Sign Lien

  • Click Upload Lien next to Bill.


    This message on the Billing portal will change to when the PM has approved the bill and the upload link will be available here as well as in the Lien Release drawer.

6.) Choose File and click Submit File

7.) This message will appear in the Billing area until your lien release document is Approved.

8.) You will receive the following e-mail message to indicate lien has been accepted and you can create the next pay application under the Billing Icon.

DIGITAL LIEN RELEASE

If your General Contractor is using the Digital Lien Release, you will be prompted to sign the Lien Waiver at the same time you Submit your Subcontractor Invoice. Click SIGN LIEN RELEASE > I Agree > OK

If you skip the above steps to sign and return your Lien Waiver, you can return to the Subcontractor RedTeam Go site, and Click on Lien Releases > Select Project.

Then you will click on Sign Lien if the General Contractor is using Digital Liens, or Upload Lien if they are using the Hand-Signed option.
