Fieldlens App card in RedTeam

To connect to Fieldlens go to the Apps menu.

Press the Connect button to open a new window.

The new window will have the Fieldlens Sign-In form, enter your Fieldlens credentials to complete the connection. Remember you need an existing Fieldlens account with Advanced Plan.

You will see a confirmation message when the access has been granted successfully.

Configure your App card to send RFIs

You’d need to select the RFI type from your list to sync with Fieldlens. You can select only one type. Any RFI record for the selected type created in RedTeam Flex will sync to Fieldlens and will be shared with all your Fieldlens teams.

RFIs in Fieldlens are Public records, so you might want to use an RFI type suited for vendors and Jobsite personnel. Additionally, all RFIs created in Fieldlens will sync to RedTeam Flex under the corresponding RFI type. The numbering for both platforms will remain synchronized.
See the lines below for our best practice tips to create an RFI template to be used with Fieldlens.

Best Practice Tips:

You can have a separate RFI type to send to Architects and/or Customers and keep communication separated between them and your vendors and Jobsite Personnel.

Please have these considerations for the RFI template you will use to sync RFIs:

  • Author: Any entity type

  • Recipient: Any entity type

  • Shouldn't display the Confidential Checkbox (In FL all RFIs are public records)

  • Dates should be required

  • Do not add User defined fields, as of now they are not supported for the Integration.
