RedTeam Flex Mobile - Markup Drawings

Markup your drawings and attach your snippets to RFIs or Progress Reports.

In RedTeam Flex Mobile app you can mark up your drawings and use those markup sections to add them to RFI documents.

Our markup tools offer a variety of options like text highlighting, notes, drawing

tools, shapes, stamps, clouds, images, text, etc. These tools are available when opening a Drawing on your app.

For instructions on how to use the markup tools on your drawings please see the instructions below.

  1. Go to your project and open the Plans and Specifications section.


  2. Click on the 3 dots menu next to the record you wish to markup. Select Markup from the list of options.


    You'll see a preview of your file, if the file contains multiple pages, only the first page will be displayed as a preview, to view the rest of the document go to the markup option from the menu on the top right corner.


    You now see 2 options:

    * Attach: It will attach the current drawing to a Progress Report or an RFI document.
    * Markup: It will give you tools and options to annotate and markup your drawing.


  3. After you click Markup a new screen will open with the Markup tools on the top. Click the pencil icon to expand the tools. All changes are autosaved so don't worry about losing your changes when using the tools.



  4. Pick and use one or more of the available tools:

    A. Drawing, Freeform Highlight, Text Highlighter, Eraser.

    B. Image, Stamps

    C. Note (Post-it style)

    D. Text

    E. Line, Arrow, Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Cloud, Polyline

    To see the additional tools on each option click and hold on each tool to see more options.
    When you are done click the "X" on the top right to close the tool bar.


  5. Now you have your drawing with your markups and annotations. You can use the share tool on the top to email it or share it outside of RedTeam

  6. You can click the Back arrow option to go to the next steps and attach your file to a Progress Report or a RFI. A confirmation message will pop up when your document has been updated.


  7. Select the Attach option from the 3 dots menu on the Top right and add your file to a Progress Report or a RFI.
    Keep in mind that permissions to create RFIs and Progress Reports for your user are required.

  8. After selecting an option your file will be attached to the form so you can complete the rest of the information and submit it.
