RedTeam Go - What reports are available for accountants?

This article explains which reports are available for accountants.

Accountants have five reports under Accounting > Reports: Owner Billing Report, Billing Report by Sub, WIP Report, PO Summary Report and Project Budgets.

Owner Billing Report (Accountants and PMs can view this report)

The Owner Billing Report lists owner pay apps. You can filter it by date and by project manager.

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > Owner Billing Report.

  2. Enter a Start Date and an End Date, and choose a Project Manager.

  3. Click View Report.

The report shows each pay app with its App #, App Date, Contract Amount, Billed Amount, % Complete, Balance, Retainage, owner approval status (Ownr Aprv) and PM, followed by the Total Billed.

Billing Report by Sub (Accountants and PMs can view this report)

This report summarizes subcontractor billing for one or more projects.

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > Billing Report by Sub.

  2. Enter the Billing Period Start and Billing Period End dates.

  3. Choose a Status: All, Accepted, Approved or New.

  4. Check the projects you want to include.

  5. Click Print.

The Subcontractor Payments report shows one row per subcontractor, with the Original Contract Amount, Changes, Revised Contract Amount, Earned To Date, Retainage, Previous Billed, Current Due, % Comp, Balance and Unbilled COs, followed by a Grand Total.

WIP Report (Accountants and Executives can view this report)

The WIP (Work in Progress) Report is a company-level report that shows every project's contract value, change orders, billing, retainage, costs and profit position in one table, including over- and underbillings.

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > WIP Report.

  2. Set the End Date (today by default). The Start Date is optional: leave it blank for project-to-date totals, or enter a date to see what changed during the period.

  3. Click Generate and choose All Projects, Active or Inactive. The report can take some time to load.

After the report loads, click Export to download it as an Excel file, or Summary Report to download a PDF summary.

PO Summary Report (Accountants only can view this. PM access is in Project > Commitments > Purchase Orders)

Print a summary of a project's purchase orders without going into the project.

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > PO Summary Report.

  2. Check the projects you want, or click Check All POs. You can use the Project Manager menu to narrow the list.

  3. Click Print Checked POs.

The PO Summary Report lists each purchase order with its P.O. #, Vendor, Amount, Change Orders and Total, followed by the project total.

Project Budgets (Accountants only can view this. PM access is in Project > Reports > Budget Report)

Print any project's Budget Report without going into the project.

  1. Go to Accounting > Reports > Project Budgets.

  2. Check the projects you want, or click Check All Budgets. You can use the Project Manager menu to narrow the list.

  3. Click Print Checked Budgets.

The Budget Report lists each cost code with its Owner Amount, Budgeted, Changes and Current amounts, followed by the Amount Total, Overhead, Profit and Contract Amount.
