RedTeam Go - How do I Export AIA Contracts to Word?

As Per ACD requirements AIA A-series contracts such as Owner and Subcontracts will no longer be finalized and executed with signatures in RedTeam Go. You will have the ability to download DRAFT copies of these contracts to a Microsoft Word (docx) file which will include dynamic content that automates based on information entered into RedTeam Go. You can copy/paste these details into the document within ACD's Catina platform for finalization. Simply export the final contract from Catina as a PDF and import back into RedTeam so your third parties can access them through their RedTeam Go portal. To import, click on the Project Documents>Contracts section in each project>Import.

OWNER CONTRACTS

When you have prepared your owner contract you can click on the Export button from the Main screen or from the Edit screen.

Then if you have all the necessary fields completed, click Proceed to Export which will trigger the opening of the Word Document. If you do not see the file open, check your downloads folder.

SUBCONTRACTS

When you prepare AIA Subcontracts, these will be Exported from within each individual contract. The Export to Word Button will appear at the top of the contract Editor view.

Clicking here will trigger the opening of the Word Document. If you do not see the file open, check your downloads folder.

AIA contracts will not be able to be Sent to the subcontractor for Signature so the send options will be disabled for any contracts that are prepared as AIA.

However, if you use the Reset Contracts button and have some subcontracts that are not AIA on the project, you will still be able to sign these as normal from the contracts list screen. Any locked AIA subcontracts will be excluded from the signature list.
